Pakistan received an invitation from the United States to join the “Board of Peace for Gaza,” marking a diplomatic effort to address the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict and promote regional stability.
Based on available reports, *the U.S.‑led Board of Peace does not include any Palestinian representatives on the main international board announced so far. No Palestinian names have been listed among its members. The White House has said more members will be announced over time, but as of now, there are none.
The crazy part is that this happens all the time — big powers moving pieces on the board, while local voices are sidelined. Is unfair, even absurd, but that’s exactly why keeping informed and amplifying local perspectives is so important.
